White, black and some yellow

Lately, when I have some time, I go in one of my favorite "artsy" shops that sells all kinds of hobby materials. I can easily spend few hours in that kind of shops, looking and browsing the different papers, the stamps, paints, boxes... They also have a big variety of products for decoration - mostly from MDF and wood, perfect for acryl paint and decoupage. I personally am not a big fan of pre-made things but, truth be told - some of the options are quite cute, and too hard to be made by hand. And they are perfect for NewYears decorations and gifts. After the big chore last year, when I spend hours and hours making over 35 Christmas stars out of clay, this year I will definitely go with something easier and at least already formed in some shape.

So, after the last shopping spree I came home with a box of wooden round-shaped cup coasters and white acryl paint. Few days and few coats of paint later they look like this:

Made specially for dear friends in Germany - we stayed in their lovely house a few weeks ago and they were the most amazing hosts ever. We thank you and love you.
